Victoria's Secret has a great line of mini skirts right now. They are all very festive! This sequined mini has a unique scalloped hem and can be dressed down with a t-shirt and flats or boots.
I love this Victoria's Secret sequined mini. I am thinking red lips and a cashmere boyfriend sweater would look fabulous with it! Comes in gold, eggplant and black.

This sexy BCBG Foil Bandage mini skirt would be great for New Years with a blank top, heels and some sparkly earrings.

September Vogue is all about color. Forget about buying another tired black blazer or muted trouser pants. Swap these wardrobe staples with something more electric. Vogue suggests color blocking, which means instead of wearing black to tone down a bright color, mix two colors together. I am now on a mission for the perfect pink tuxedo jacket and bright skinny jeans. What do you think... too 80's?

Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie

Another great idea from Heidi Swanson's 101 Cookbooks. Doesn't this look to-die-for? And, it is easier than rolling into individual cookies! Ingredients below. Click on the link for full recipe.

3 cups / 13.5 oz / 380 g whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/4 teaspoon fine grain sea salt

8 ounces / 225 g (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces, plus more for buttering the pan

1 cup / 5 oz / 140 g dark brown sugar
1 cup / 7 oz / 200 g sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

8 ounces / 225 g bittersweet chocolate, roughly chopped into 1/4- and 1/2-inch pieces
